We visited our midwife today for Maya's check up and had her weighed. In just 6 days our little girl went from being 8 pounds to 8 pounds 12 ounces (12 whole ounces in just 6 days!!). Mama and Papa were beyond proud and my boobs got a big thumbs up. I came home and put Maya down for her nap and found my self thinking "she's getting so big and fat"; until I looked down and saw how tiny she was. Her legs are in there somewhere struggling to find their way out of 0-3 month pants that are still too big for her.
